    Technical Notes

  • Data saved in common dBase (IV) files (.dbf) using Borland Data Engine.
  • Programmed with Borland Delphi (32 bit) from Inprise. Tools: Forehelp, Turbopower, Microsoft, Udeedv.
  • Single executable, no dlls (except for BDE).
  • Import data (large food data files on CD-ROM) encrypted. Local data (hard drive) not.
  • All data and executable program stored in single fixed disk directory.
