Ingredient Findex gets you the food ingredient information you need fast. It can save time, money and even improve your products. It can introduce you to suppliers you may not know.

The database contains tens of thousands of food ingredients and their properties from nearly 1,400 ingredient manufacturers, brokers, distributors and producers. It is a growing database, with new items continually being added.

You can Search by any word throughout the program. In addition, you can select specific ingredients from an alphabetical list of Contents. If you want more detail, you can automatically generate a fax information request form for the desired supplier.

Information on each product included in Ingredient Findex can include: Common Name, Trade Name, Company Name, Pack, Applications, Functions, Declaration, Particle Size, Moisture or other volatiles, Composition (ash, protein, carbohydrate, fat, sodium, fiber, other), Properties, Notes. Information on suppliers usually includes address, 800 line, fax, phone, and two contacts by name. Subsidiary relationships are also shown.

One year subscription price $995 $495 renewal. DOS version requires 40MB hard drive space, 512K RAM, DOS 2.1 or higher, and a high density 3.5" disk drive. CD-ROM version requires 500KB of hard drive space, 4MB RAM, Windows 3.1 or higher, and a CD-ROM drive. About the Windows software.
