FOOD ANALYST/FOOD ANALYST PLUS PROBLEMS

 

FOOD ANALYST

PROBLEM: After selecting foods and "Escape" to meal boxes, gets message that says

"PROCESSING". System locks up and must reboot.

SOLUTION: Free up more memory.

 

FOOD ANALYST PLUS

NOTE: First thing to find out with most FA+ problems is whether or not they have installed their fdplprog.exe disk that came with the product and are starting FA+ through the directory containing it (i.e. \FOODPLUS)

PROBLEM: When starting program from \FOOD - types "FOODPLUS F". Gets sent back to DOS.

SOLUTION: Upgrade DOS or use older version of MSCDEX.EXE.

PROBLEM: MEMORY PROBLEM 2620 message.

SOLUTION: Need new MSCDEX.EXE installed.

PROBLEM: Added recipes & ingredients scrambled.

SOLUTION: Make sure "fdplprog.exe" disk is installed before starting program.
